Tried out the 105 section of the Watagua River just outside of Boone, N.C on sunday Oct 11th 2009 only to be rewarded with this nice Rainbow trout after just a few casts to bad it was the only fish caught that day for the 105 stretch of water. Spinning with my ultra-lite rod and a Mepps single hook Tiger blaze lure. This section of the Watagua River is Posted as Delayed harvest Trout water so read up on your regulations before heading to the streams, rivers and ponds of N.C and know what the signs mean, a bit of caution and education can help all Trout Minded persons enjoy the thrill of a Tight Line without a stiff $$$ penalty for breaking the law.
